Nice colors

I like the colors you used, but sometimes the brightness of the colors can be too distracting from the scenes. The panels are quite decent, but perhaps you'd like to add more?

This is a good start for the panels, I like how you drew your bubbles for your dialogue. interesting idea.

Sorrygirl99 responds:

lol, i only drew the bubbles because GIMP doesn't have any line or circle tools... the line you see there is just me typing "___" a bunch of times together

interesting

I really like the contrast. The cover looks pretty straightforward enough, Sorta has this novel look to it.

Sorrygirl99 responds:

it does have a novel look to it, doesn't it? :D

Remarkable idea.

I love the collaboration idea you two pulled together there. Especially when its drawn in the theme of puppets. I think I might draw something puppet like too and let you work alittle something off of it.

I like the concept of the puppeteer making the puppet fly.

Sorrygirl99 responds:

she can already make puppets fly, silly! :P
She just has to pull on the strings hard and the puppet lifts up...
but she sometimes rather not because the people can be heavy and hurts her fingures... :c
also, when she is bored and wants fun she usually just pulls the arm stings until the arm comes off... might make a picture of that and stuff :3

I want to marry her..

I mean, this is just totally comic book bombastic! If there's ever a dominating female in a man's world, she would totally be slaying dinosaurs with a bastard sword.

afro haze all in my brain.

This is the most awesome mug shot of Jimi Hendrix I had ever seen. He doesn't even need a bandana to even tell it's him.

10/10 yo.

Willeeto responds:

Thanks man, yeah i spent alot of time getting the features just right so you can tell its him without the bandana and the flairs and the guitar and such :)

The colors

I really don't work with bright colors that often, but I do know my colors. Its not always good to work with bright colors all the time and can really wear out the eyes when too much color is applied. However, I can't really say the color being any issue because it works so well with your art style. So that in turn goes hand in hand keeping everything in balance.

Another note I like to add, this piece definitely reminds me of "Space Channel 5". I'm not sure if thats the kind of look you're going for, but if so you have totally succeeded in getting that look.

Excellent, a new word.

I can understand why feedback is needed for female anatomy. In my experiences in figure drawing, it is always important to get feedback on drawing the opposite sex no matter how well it seems. Heh. Not that I'm being discriminative since I'm a guy myself, but ask any female artist and she may tell you what we guys may have overlooked.

I'm not one for drooling anime chicks, but I personally like this piece. The hovering gun sorta gives it a a wild, magical edge to it.

Egoraptor responds:

She doesn't appear to be drooling.

"Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!"

Ah, the dramatic splash effect. I really love having lines like that, especially in action scenes. What technique or program did you use to make lines like that? I could never get them to look like that.

Also, things do happen to look so much better when its reworked so you definitely stated that fact here. Maybe I should rework some of my old stuff.>_>

Sorrygirl99 responds:

heh, i used manga studio, and they are for Mac's.. in Manga studio they already have custom focus lines(like the ones in this picture) and then there is this thing that pops up and you can change the settings for it. Like how wide to you want the lines, what color (black, white or gray), how big or small you want the lines, ect.
It's very helpful! They also have the speed lines, which only go in one direction.
If you have a mac, i totally suggest getting Manga Studio! :D

excellent

I love what you did with the shading. Dramatic lighting always works for scene and details though it can be a bit tricky to work with depending on the light source. This one sorta compliments the background from that sorta sparkly effect dancing around her. Like this is sorta what it would look like in a freeze frame if it had been in motion.
Genius.

Sorrygirl99 responds:

Thanks! I kind of forgot wen i drew this picture... so i forget how hand or easy it was to draw the shading and stuff...
it does feel sparky! :3
i also love doing pictures that look like they are in mid motion :)))
Thanks! I am really glad that you liked it! :3

impressive

It reminds me of the style used in most of Hayao Miyazaki's films. Very impressive work.

Say!! I be dat artist.. Important Notice: If you have a problem with me please write it nicely on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope, fold it up and shove it up your ass.
